How we make money
Micronutrient Test is free to read. To pay for it, some pages link to laboratories and testing companies that pay us a commission if you buy a test through the link. It costs you nothing extra. Pages that contain these links say so near the top.
The rules we hold ourselves to
- We recommend the cheapest test that answers your question, even when that earns us less or nothing — often a single ferritin test rather than a large panel.
- We tell you when not to test. If a test is unlikely to change what you or your clinician would do, we say so.
- Commissions don’t change rankings. Whether a company pays us has no bearing on how we describe it or where it appears in a comparison.
- Clinical content is never sponsored. Pages explaining results contain no paid placements.
- Our reviewer is not paid by any laboratory or testing company.

We may show display advertising in future. If we do, ads will be clearly labeled and kept away from result explanations and safety information.
